Anxiety Therapy in Carlsbad, CA

You’re doing all the right things—but the anxiety won’t let up.

You keep it together at work, in your relationships, with your family. You’re responsible. Self-aware. From the outside, it probably looks like you’ve got things under control. But inside? It’s exhausting. You’re overthinking, second-guessing, bracing for what might go wrong next. You’re tired of feeling anxious, even when things are going well. You don’t have to keep running on this mental hamster wheel. And you don’t have to figure it out alone

When Anxiety Isn’t Just a Phase

Anxiety shows up in all kinds of ways:

  • Constant worry or tension—even when nothing’s “wrong”
  • Overthinking decisions, conversations, or what’s next
  • Trouble sleeping or relaxing
  • A harsh inner critic that won’t let up
  • Feeling like your brain just won’t “turn off”
  • Avoiding things that used to feel manageable

Sometimes anxiety is rooted in stress or life transitions. Other times, it’s linked to deeper experiences—old patterns, trauma, or beliefs you picked up along the way that no longer serve you. Therapy can help you sort through what’s going on and actually do something about it.

My Approach to Anxiety Therapy

I help clients untangle the underlying roots of anxiety—not just manage the symptoms.

That means we might use:

  • Brainspotting or EMDR therapy to target the nervous system
  • Schema Therapy to challenge negative self-beliefs and long-held emotional patterns
  • CBT to build practical tools for thought patterns, behaviors, and triggers
  • Narrative Therapy to help you reframe your story and reclaim your voice
  • Mind-body techniques to support regulation and awareness
  • And some good, old-fashioned space to talk things through with someone who gets it

You don’t need to choose one approach upfront. We’ll explore what works best for you and adjust as we go.

Therapy That Respects Your Time

You can choose weekly 50-minute sessions—or we can work in extended 100-minute sessions for deeper, more focused progress. I also offer Therapy Intensives for clients who are ready to dive in and don’t want to drag things out for months or years. We’ll talk about what format fits best during your consultation

Let’s Quiet the Overthinking

If you’re ready to stop white-knuckling your way through life and finally feel more grounded, clear, and in control—you’re in the right place.
