Individual Psychotherapy for Teens & Adults

You Show Up For Everyone Else. This Space Is For You.

In-person therapy for high-achieving adults and teens who are ready to stop overthinking and start healing.

You’ve spent years holding it all together. Now, let’s focus on you.

You’re the one others lean on. You get things done, hold space, and keep it together until it starts to catch up with you. Maybe it’s anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, or just a deep ache in your chest that shows up at the worst times. You don’t have to white-knuckle your way through it. There’s a different way to move forward, and it’s okay to want more than just coping skills.

I help high-functioning teens and adults move through stuck emotional patterns and reconnect with who they are beneath the stress. My style is warm, collaborative, and attuned, but also focused on real, lasting change. Whether you're navigating anxiety, perfectionism, relationships, or trauma, therapy can help you feel like yourself again.

What Therapy Feels Like Here

You don’t need to explain everything perfectly or show up with a plan. In my Carlsbad office, you’ll find a quiet, grounded space to feel seen, exhale, and actually start shifting what’s been stuck. I bring humor, warmth, and structure to our sessions. Healing is serious work, but it doesn’t have to feel heavy every moment.

Depending on your goals, we might incorporate:

  • Schema Therapy to shift deep-rooted emotional beliefs
  • Brainspotting or EMDR to help process unresolved trauma
  • CBT & DBT to build insight and coping tools that actually stick

You don’t need to know what any of these are to get started. We’ll figure it out together.

What Sessions Look Like

All sessions are in person. Sessions are available in 50- or 100-minute formats, weekly or every-other-week. I also offer 1/2 day therapy intensives for clients from out of town or who want focused progress without the wait.

Whether you’re new to therapy or have tried it before and want something that actually helps, we’ll find a rhythm that fits your life and honors your nervous system.

My Dual-Lens Career

I’ve spent the last two decades learning to see what’s hidden in plain sight.

As both a licensed therapist and a professional photographer, I maintain an active, year-round creative career alongside my clinical practice.

This isn’t just a backstory, it’s a balanced way of living that informs how I show up with clients. I know what it means to manage multiple roles and still carve out space for depth, clarity, and care.

In both careers, I’ve learned the power of attunement. Whether I’m sensing the emotion behind a smile in a photo session or tracking the subtle shifts in breath and body in the therapy room, I bring the same lens: to notice what others might miss and help you feel truly seen. My goal isn’t just to listen, it’s to meet you in the moment and help you move forward with presence and purpose.

Why In-Person Still Matters

In a world of digital fatigue, therapy deserves its own space.

  • Real attunement: Being in the same room allows for deeper connection. Your nervous system picks up on safety in ways a screen just can’t offer.
  • Somatic cues: I notice the shifts in your posture, breath, and tone. These cues often matter most in healing work.
  • Distraction-free space: No Zoom glitches, barking dogs, or Amazon deliveries. Just you and me, doing the work.

My Carlsbad office is a calm, screen-free space designed for presence, clarity, and real connection.

Therapy Intensives

IFor clients ready to go deeper, efficiently and intentionally.

Weekly therapy isn’t always the best fit. If you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, or want focused time to work through something meaningful, intensives offer a powerful, short-term alternative.

Therapy intensives may be right for you if:

  • You want faster progress without dragging it out week-to-week
  • You’re stuck in a loop and ready to actually move forward
  • You’ve done therapy before and want to go deeper
  • You’re in therapy now but want to try EMDR or Brainspotting with a specialist

Half-day intensives take place in my Carlsbad office and are fully customized to your needs. Some clients come for a one-time reset. Others integrate it into ongoing therapy. Either way, we’ll create a plan that brings clarity, relief, and emotional ease.

The Invitation

If you’ve made it this far, maybe something inside is ready to shift.

You don’t have to be in crisis to want support. You just have to be tired of doing it alone. Whether you're brand new to therapy or just ready for a new approach, we’ll figure it out together.

"Your immediate reaction does not tell you who you are. It is how you decide to respond after the reaction that gives you real insight into how much you've grown. Your first reaction is your past, your intentional response is your present."

Process what was. Find calm in the present. Shape what comes next.
